Lil Peep - London - Review

Lil Peep, Islington Academy, 2017 Recently Lil Peep dubbed the saviour of emo bought his Come Over When You're Sober tour to the UK, I attended the London date and here's how the prestigious member of the Goth Boi Clique got on. Lounging onto the stage with his signature pink hair he had definitely not come over sober, getting right into his heavily backtracked set. Playing songs from his entire back catalogue between the Crybaby mix and his debut album Come Over When You're Sober he ploughed through an undecided setlist picked on the go. An exquisite back set featuring artistic designs flowed behind him and even shone certain music videos when appropriate. Songs like Beamer Boy, The Brightside and U Said got the loudest and most energetic responses apposed to when he played 3 unreleased songs straight which slowed the energy down a bit.
