Citizen - London - Review
After being announced for Leeds hardcore festival, Outbreak Fest, Citizen fans roared for more UK dates only to be treated to an exclusive headline show at London's legendary Moth Club, a small, sweaty, glitter bound bar in trendy old Hackney. MOTH shimmering in sequins from the back wall above a stage even smaller than the toilets, signified the glow in the room as the Michigan based 5 piece took to stage to play a concluding set in the English capital before returning home for 'a very long time', this is all the crowd needed to hear to know what was expected of the night. A sea of beers held high getting bowled down by crowd surfers to every single chorus sung spat the bands energy straight back at them.
