Given our current unfortunate circumstances being stuck at home under quarantine we at WALLFLAG_ haven't had much on our plate lately, Luckily London based Alt-Rock group Wallflower came out the dark to rescue us with news of their debut album 'Teach Yourself To Swim' and an exclusive new single 'Hungry Eyes', geared with a notes app full of questions we dusted off the old Skype account, switched on the old voice recorded app and said hello to Vini (vocals and guitar) and Sam (lead guitar). After a by chance meeting one night in West London, the week before their highly anticipated sold out show at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, WALLFLAG_ got the chance to bump shoulders with Palaye Royale bassist Daniel Curcio eventually sitting down to chat about his vast array of instrumental and writing ability, having a Christian rock upbringing, fashions place in music and more! WALLFLAG_ : So you grew up in New Jersey and are now based in LA right? Meaning you've grown up all around music presumably, what's that been like? Any standout memories? DANIEL :  "I did grow up in New Jersey! I love New Jersey and always will. Thats where all my family is from besides my brother and father.  And yes-I grew up around music but not in the sense you would imagine. My parents were heavily involved in the christian music scene, and helped run the biggest christian music festival in the world since I was born. Thom Weeks//Gnarwolves

For this interview I was given strict instructions to make it interesting so I used the same boring questions I usually do but added an extra layer of spice, With no particular order or rhythm to my questions due to the little news they'd given out at my time of questioning I opened by asking what inspired Thom to take up his part in the band so he revealed that he'd been playing ... guitar and writing songs since a young age and "used to piss [his] mum off by playing terrifically bad Green Day covers at home with his brother Max" and that the bands bassist Charlie used to be a drummer and had never even played bass before their first rehearsal! I then avoided the particularly vanilla band name question and opted for asking what they'd call the band if they were forced to change it, saying that despite being so reluctant as the current band name is "so friggin good" he'd change it to Bangers, Bangers "so every time they're on a poster t
