Hotel Lux - Eddie's Gaff - Single Review

Portsmouth raised but South London based Hotel Lux give us a second peak at their forthcoming EP 'Barstool Preaching' with their nostalgic themed single 'Eddie's Gaff'. This rhythmic number is a tale of waking up hanging out your head and looking back at last nights antics with the singles artwork being nothing more than a tip of the trilby to Michalangelou just in some geezers gaff. Following on from 'Tabloid Newspaper' which dropped last year mic man Lewis Duffin described it as 'simpler times' in 'the earlier days of south London' and it certainly carries the bands earlier glooming sounds but swings right through to their newer more ardent direction leaving us more than ready for the full EP drop next month.
'Barstool Preaching' is released on April 24th via Nice Swan Records.
